The Elkhart County Community Foundation recently awarded a $2,500 matching funds grant to the Millersburg Friends of the Park. This grant will go toward the purchase of sound equipment that will be used during the annual Millersburg Farmers’ Day Festival.
The Millersburg Friends of the Park plan to match the $2,500 and purchase a sound system that will be used during future Farmer’s Day Festivals, as well as other fundraising activities. The equipment will also be available to other organizations within the Millersburg community for their fundraising events and community activities.
Money normally used to rent sound equipment each year for Farmers’ Day will now be directed toward park improvement projects.
The Millersburg Friends of the Park wishes to thank the Elkhart Community Foundation for their generous grant and support of this project.
