ORDINANCE 2003-2

AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE YEAR 2003 BUDGET

WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget due to budget being denied because of improper advertisement; now, therefore:

Section.1. Be it ordained by the Town Council of the Town of Millersburg, Elkhart County, that for the expenses of the Town of Millersburg, taxing unit the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated out of the funds named and for the purposes specified, subject to laws governing the same:

Section 2. The Town Council of the Town of Millersburg, Indiana has heretofore fixed this date, to-wit: February 24, 2003 at 6:30 P.M. as the date and time when the Town Council would, at its regular public meeting consider and determine the additional appropriations, and the taxpayers of the Town of Millersburg, Indiana have then and there had the right to be heard, pursuant to legal publication notice, as contemplated by law.

Section 3. That upon passage hereof, the proper officers of the Town of Millersburg, Indiana shall file a certified copy of such determination with the Department of Local Government Finance and the Auditor of Elkhart County, Indiana as provided by law.

Section 4. That this Ordinance is herewith adopted, and shall be in full force and effect, from and after its passage and approval, according to law.
