Ordinance 1995-14

AN ORDINANCE TO PROHIBIT THE BURNING OF LEAVES

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MILLERSBURG:

Section 1.  From and after the adoption of this Ordinance leaf burning within the corporate limits of the Town of Millersburg is prohibited.

Section 2.  In addition to any charges imposed by the fire department to extinguish a leaf fire, any person burning leaves in violation of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined in a sum not to exceed Fifty ($50.00).

Section 3.  This ordinance shall be effective upon publication as required by law.
